Originally from Tupelo, Mississippi, Dr. Amanda Foster holds a Doctorate in Rehabilitation Counseling and is a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor as well as a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Georgia.

She is a Psychology Today Verified Clinician and a Yoga Alliance Registered Yoga Teacher certified by Akasha Yoga Academy. She has been involved in different professional research projects and initiatives. Her works in collaboration with different colleagues can be found in a number of professional journals.
Dr. A has also been employed in a variety of settings which include: Forensic/Corrections, Higher Education, Acute care inpatient psychiatric hospital, Intensive outpatient facility for co-occurring disorders, and State, Community, and Private Counseling settings. My Way
Never give up to early, great things take time. If it was easy, everyone would be doing it.
Release
Help individuals emote in a healthy manner because our bodies need to relinquish the distress to promote balance.
Refocus
A balance needs to occur to reintroduce the individual to their logical/ rational mind, so processing can accurately take place.
Reflect
Revisit the concern; so, the client can process the concern from multiple lenses and perspectives to assist in the formation of an action plan.
Reassess
Looking at the concern, reaction, consequences, and outcome from a more rational state of mind to problem solve.
Realign
Help clients take what they’ve formulated in the reassess stage to line up with their more authentic selves so the action plan can be carried out in their true nature.
Resolve
The action plan is able to execute a resolve for the concern.
