Counseling is a collaborative process between client and therapist. In this cooperative relationship, the therapist acts as a facilitator in helping the client accurately comprehend him/herself, the world around him/her, better understand feelings and behaviors, assist the individual in their interpersonal relationships. Discourse regarding whatever an individual deems important and impactful in their life can promote growth towards greater freedom in making rational and mature choices and taking responsible action.

No one person can determine this for you; however, if you have a concern that is troubling you and seem to be affecting many facets of your life, you continuously face the same roadblock on more than one occasion and you have a desire for change then you may be ready to invest in yourself and commit to cultivating a change to create something different in your life through therapy.

Choosing a therapist is a very personal decision. Therapy is only as effective as the relationship between therapist and client. This is the reason we believe that the best way to determine if a therapist is right for you is to book a session with the respective therapist. Meet with them, trust your instincts, and ask yourself questions (i.e. Can I see myself feeling safe and comfortable with this person?). These questions can also be answered in the consultation as well.

TRINITE Wellness was designed to emphasize and encourage treating the total person. In therapy considerable time is spent on the psychological aspects of an individual, however, there are other factors that influence our psychological state. For example, if we feel unwell physically, often we are unable to think clearly and soundly, and if we cannot think logically then our emotions can be “out of sorts” and if our emotions are unstable then our behaviors reflect just that “out of sorts”, unpredictable, and inconsistent. TRINITE is committed to assisting an individual in promoting an atmosphere that cultivates balance of the mind, body, and essence of self (i.e.soul). TRINITE focuses on providing a holistic approach to mental well-being.

In addition, TRINITE’s provider is extremely dedicated and passionate about uplifting and empowering females. She is so dedicated to the concern of females that TRINITE’s services are geared specifically to the female population. TRINITE works hard to foster an environment and therapeutic atmosphere that is peaceful, non-judgmental, encouraging, and affords space for individuals to explore, discover, contemplate, and construct resolutions to their specific concern(s) with unconditional positive regard.

TRINITE’s provider is credentialed and well-versed in the field with years of experience working with diverse female populations. The therapeutic services she provides strives to meet an individual where they are presently and motivate them to take the steps to advance themselves, and where they would like to be regarding their particular concern(s). Different therapeutic approaches, techniques, and resources are employed to encourage the reduction of stress and anxiety, self-awareness, coping mechanisms, and alleviation of problem-induced symptoms. Aiding in the elevation of an individual to be their best self, is the ultimate goal that TRINITE sets for each and every client.

TRINITE accepts the following insurances Aetna, Cigna, Optum. In addition,  we do provide itemized bills for those individuals seeking reimbursement from their insurance companies. In addition, TRINITE is an active provider of the following EAP programs: Kepro, Aetna EAP, CCA EAP.

For those individuals who are interested and unsure about self-pay, it is explained below.

Self-pay serves as a way to ensure that your information is kept confidential and is not released to any third parties or insurance companies. In addition, insurance companies require a mental health diagnosis. The diagnosis will be documented and provided on your permanent health record, which is pulled during background checks. Certain diagnoses can make particular employment opportunities (i.e. military and public health) challenging and may cause delays in the ability to qualify for certain life, health, and disability insurance.

Therapy is a financial commitment and investment in yourself. The ability to bring awareness of any self-sabotaging behaviors and replace them with new practices that prove to be more effective in your thought processes and actions is essential. The ability to think, behave, and act more effectively can be profound and impact all aspects of your life (e.g. relationships, health, career, and finances) in a positive way. If you are like many of my clients prior, they explained having invested so much time and money in career, education, home, and physical health that mental well-being has been last on the list. It is our belief at TRINITE that investing in therapy is an act of self-care. Self-care is a continuous effort of partaking in activities that nurture overall well-being and future success in this journey called life.
